Resources Supporting Your
Basic Needs
Basic Needs Center
Paying for your education is an investment and sometimes doing so makes it difficult to keep up with the other financial responsibilities you have. The Basic Needs Center is here to help students work through their situation and find resources that may help things be more manageable. The BNC offers direct assistance such as their food pantry and textbook lending program. They also work with individuals to help build out plans to stay on top of things and learn essential skills to help you support yourself.
SNAP Benefits
The Oregon Department of Human Services manages the Oregon SNAP program to help provide access to nutritious food and other essentials from grocery stores, farmers markets, and more. As a college student, you may be eligible for these benefits. We recommend reviewing the federal SNAP student page to check if you may be eligible.
